On August 13th, 2016, over 400 LIXIL VINA employees and their families enjoyed a refreshing day of fun at the LIXIL VINA Culture Day 2016 event. This cultural festival, Culture Day, is an annual event held at LIXIL VINA. It features competitions in flower arranging, fashion, musical performances, and a food fair. This is considered a healthy and beneficial playground for the company. It aims to promote employee engagement while enhancing solidarity and teamwork among participants.
Despite being the first time it was held, the event attracted a large number of participants across various categories. Join us as we look back at the activities of the LIXIL VINA Cultural Festival 2016!
The program kicked off with a flower arrangement competition. It featured 12 teams from various departments, which attracted a large audience. Each creation showcased a unique color and meaning. This competition highlighted the contestants’ dexterity, evident in each piece. For example, the Vietnamese-Japanese cultural exchange from the AC department. Also, the spirit of solidarity or the praise of the homeland and the image of LIXIL company in the works of the QA and FAB departments.

Next up was the special fashion show. It featured 05 unique collections from the HR – HD, FAB, QA, and PC departments, which took the audience by surprise one after another. With bold ideas combined with skillful hands, the collections were presented by amateur models. They were no less graceful.

One equally remarkable and vibrant activity within the LIXIL VINA Culture Day 2016 program was the talent show competition. It featured 12 contestants and teams. These 12 performances had excellently surpassed the preliminary round to participate in the LIXIL VINA Culture Day 2016.
Alongside the competition activities, there was also a Food Fair featuring 18 booths. These booths offered dishes and drinks prepared by LIXIL VINA employees themselves. There were many attractive dishes such as hot, crispy banh xeo, a typical Vietnamese dish. Or the fragrant and fatty beef stew bread, combined with fast foods such as rice rolls, grilled rice paper… Not only women know how to cook, but also male QA staff can make attractive vermicelli with grilled meat, or spring rolls from the PU department. Not only stopping at dishes, the food stalls also bring to diners drinks such as cool coconut water, delicious corn milk or the coolness of lotus seed sweet soup… And also rustic dishes such as snakehead fish and grilled climbing perch of the CA department, which attract a large number of diners.

Throughout the LIXIL VINA Culture Day 2016 program, there were engaging activities such as interactive games with prizes and sing-alongs. These events were met with enthusiastic participation from all attendees.

Following the awards ceremony, the General Director of LIXIL VINA delivered the closing remarks for the festival. He expressed the hope that the Cultural Festival program would continue to be organized even better in the years to come.
