Coinciding with World Environment Day (June 5th), LIXIL VINA actively implemented a series of meaningful activities under the banner of “Environment Week,” demonstrating its strong commitment to environmental protection in Vietnam and promoting multifaceted cooperation for a sustainable future. These activities focused on educating individuals on how to help protect the environment while emphasizing our role to protect the environment.
Collaboration with Long Duc Industrial Park: For a Green, Clean, and Beautiful Community
In cooperation with the Long Duc Industrial Park Management Board, an “Environment Day” event was held.

- Main Activities: LIXIL VINA employees, along with other companies in Long Duc Industrial Park, enthusiastically participated in picking up litter and cleaning the landscape along the main roads leading to the industrial park.
This activity not only contributes to improving the aesthetics of the industrial park but also serves as a powerful call to raise community awareness in the fight against climate change, prevent ecosystem destruction, and build a future in harmony with nature to protect our common home, Earth.
LIXIL VINA: Spreading the Green Spirit from Within
Beyond community activities, LIXIL VINA actively implemented many practical initiatives within its own factory premises, clearly demonstrating its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and commitment to sustainable development, which aligns with our goals to protect the environment.
1. LIXIL VINA Environment Week Kick-off Meeting
As the opening event for the series of activities, this meeting inspired the spirit and commitment of all LIXIL VINA employees towards environmental protection goals, ensuring our efforts go beyond mere words and truly focus on protecting the environment actively.
2. Tree Planting and Factory Premises Cleanup
Numerous new trees were planted, contributing to increased green spaces and improved air quality. Simultaneously, cleanup activities within the factory premises were diligently carried out, ensuring a clean, beautiful, and safe working environment that embodies our ethic to protect and sustain our environment.
3. “Exchange Waste for Gifts” Initiative – Small Actions, Big Impact
Under the “Exchange Waste for Gifts” program, employees actively brought in recyclable items and waste to exchange for practical gifts. This program, held for the first time to encourage waste recycling and express gratitude to employees for their participation, was met with enthusiastic participation and joy.
Expanding Cooperation – Multiplying the Power of Environmental Protection
For the third consecutive year, an environmental event was held with SMC Corporation. Both companies, as Japanese enterprises, are working together to fulfill their responsibilities towards a sustainable future for Vietnam by strengthening inter-company collaboration, sharing solutions, and taking joint action for more effective environmental protection in Vietnam. The event exemplified our concerted efforts to vigilantly protect the environment through unity and cooperation.

SMC Factory Tour and Commemorative Tree Planting: The LIXIL VINA delegation visited the SMC factory to learn about their environmentally friendly management and operational experiences. Notably, a joint tree planting ceremony was held on the premises, serving as a beautiful symbol of friendship and a shared commitment to a green future.
