LIXIL Community Day is a day when all LIXIL employees come together to participate in social activities. The purpose is to contribute to the community. These social activities are designed to make a positive impact.
Currently, in Vietnam, there are about 7.2 million people with disabilities aged 2 and above. This accounts for 7.8% of the population. Among them, 58% are women, 28.3% are children, and about 29% are severely and specially disabled people. In response to this situation, on Saturday, October 19, continuing from last year, with the desire to contribute to society and bring joy to children, LIXIL VINA collaborated with the Dong Nai Province Special Education Development Center. They called for about 100 members (30% of whom were first-time participants) to form groups. These groups carried out activities such as cleaning, painting, repairing toilets and handwashing areas. They also played games with children, cooked, gave gifts, and engaged in other social activities.
Additionally, this time we also visited the pediatric cancer hospital. We sent encouraging letters and gifts as part of our social activities program. The participating members shared that: “It feels great to be able to contribute to society through working at LIXIL,” “It was fun to engage in activities with other members, sweat together, and see the smiles of the children.”
We will continue to share love with underprivileged children and maintain these meaningful social activities in the future.
❤️Giving love will receive love in return! ❤️
