In the fiercely competitive aluminum market, to enhance the quality of LIXIL’s products and further expand sales in the G2G market (outside Japan), and to prove the quality of the factory’s products, the components that build up the products are ensured to be safe and environmentally friendly, giving users more confidence in the quality. Therefore, our management decided to obtain JIS certification, which includes the JIS certificate, for the products of LIXIL Vietnam factory.
JIS SPECIFICATION: JAPANESE INDUSTRIAL STANDARDS
JIS is a national specification of Japan, where standards and measurement methods related to industrial products of Japan are regulated. Including standards related to the production of industrial products such as automobiles, electronics products, as well as information processing standards such as character codes, programming codes, and service-related standards.Like other standard sets such as ISO or IEC, JIS participates in the construction and establishment of quality standards across various industries. Moreover, JIS collaborates with these two standards in evaluating the capabilities of laboratories and production facilities.
The JIS standard of Japan is one of the most stringent standards in the world in terms of safety and product quality.
- In June 2023, we planned to obtain JIS Certification.
- By March 2024 we had undergone an evaluation by the JQA Organization (Japan)
Although we faced many difficulties (spending a lot of time preparing documents, understanding the JIS process, etc.), with the efforts of the departments in the factory and the support from LIXIL headquarters, we completed the evaluation and achieved the certificate.

In July 2024 we proudly became the leading company in aluminium extruded profiles production in Việt Nam and had obtained important specifications such as JIS H4100, JIS H8601 and JIS H8602.
