Believing that every act of sharing today will be the strength to nurture the “seeds of the future” for children, we at LIXIL VINA are delighted to continue the “LIXIL Community Day 2025” activities this year. This is not just an annual event, but an important initiative to give form to our strong desire: “Let’s start with what we can do for the local community.”
Joining Forces to Nurture “Young Shoots” at Dieu Phap Pagoda Orphanage
The activity to nurture the “seeds of the future” by the LIXIL VINA family began at the Dieu Phap Pagoda Orphanage, where approximately 80 children reside. More than 90 enthusiastic members joined forces to help improve the environment of the orphanage.
We cooperated to carry out cleaning activities and installed surveillance cameras so that the children could live safely. Everything was aimed at providing the children with “a more organized and safer living environment.”
In addition to this, the small kitchen was filled with a warm atmosphere thanks to the nutritious meal lovingly prepared by the members. The cheerful laughter of the children echoed throughout the grounds as we enjoyed games together. Everyone united, and a warm, family-like time flowed.
Delivering Emotional Strength at the Pediatric Hospital
The next place we visited after the orphanage was the pediatric hospital, where warm encouragement is needed. Here, we delivered heartfelt handwritten letters and small gifts to the children battling illness, offering words of encouragement.
We believe that warm “emotional strength” can sometimes be great support. The moment a faint smile appears on the faces of the young patients is the greatest treasure for us. We were reminded once again that small acts of kindness hold immense value.
Community Day – Where the Culture of Sharing Shines
The joy of this day spread powerfully within each LIXIL member. One employee commented, “I am happy to contribute to society while working at the company,” and another employee shared, “Seeing the children’s smiles while working up a sweat with my colleagues was the greatest joy. I definitely want to participate again next year.”
These heartfelt comments are a testament to the culture of sharing being fostered at LIXIL VINA. Community Day 2025 was an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment: that business activities must always go hand-in-hand with the development of the local community.
